Baffle in dryer broke
easy repair. Another person had placed a youtube video on it on how to open up the dryer to get to the baffle. Baffle purchased only came with baffle. Had to go to Ace hardware to buy screws. This travel time was 90 percent of the repair. Disappointed the package didn't come with all the parts, like screws. Screws cost me another 2.50 as had to buy 2 separate sets to see which ones were needed. Next time if you are not going to ship something that is assembled, e.g. needs screws, with screws. Let me know ahead of time.

Baffle broke off and needed to be replaced
we replaced the baffle by removing the broken baffle. There were two screws holding it in place. Door and front panel of dryer had to be removed to accomplish this task. Quite an easy repair/replacement. Thank you for all your help PartSelect.com.

Loud noise - missing baffle
1 - unscrewed door 2 - made a mess because the directions did not work for my dryer 3 - figured it out = eventually 4 - popped loose the front panel 5 - unscrewed metal bars (that were holding the top down in the front) 6 - lift front like a hood on a car 7 - unscrew the rest of the front until the drum was loose and I could get to the felt strip 8 - glue new strip on where the old strip was = to the front and back plates that hold the drum 9 - put it back together :)

One of the baffles came loose.
I took out screws holding top to dryer & raised the top & proped it up to gain access to inside of the dryeeer drum. I then inatalled the new baffle & secured it with 2 screws. It would have been better if the part came with new screws. It was hard to determine which was the right screws for this application.

End of one baffle pulled away from drum
Following the instructions I pulled off the door and front panel. After rotating drum so the broken baffle was at the bottom I used a socket to remove the two screws on either end. I removed the broken baffle and inserted the new baffle in its place. Reinserted the screws, front panel, and door. I do strongly suggest having the manual handy to view the steps. It's available in PDF format.

Broken tumbler baffle
Found out you shouldn't try to dry heavy hiking shoes in a dryer....it tends to break off plastic baffle.
The repair directions on PartSelct.com made this repair a piece of cake. Just removed screws holding door and front of dryer. With these removed it was a simple matter to detach top and get access to internal components. Two hex screws held baffle in place. Total repair took about 15 minutes, but while I was in there I cleaned out all the dust from inside of the dryer and heater unit. I also reversed door to make it easier to transfer clothes from washer. The instructions, detailed drawings and the quality of the part were all excellent. They had replacement to me in 1 day. Will definitely use PartSelect again.

Broken baffle
I went on my laptop and typed in repairs to Maytag dryer - baffle and he said it was so easy. Dryer does not make any more noises and saved us probably $150.00. Your website is GREAT!

Broken short baffle
First, suggest that, if you're mechanically challenged, take pictures or write down the disassembly sequence you use. Took off the door, removed the front sub panel, then the shroud. When I noticed the wires to the moisture sensors, etc., I remembered to unplug the unit. Once all the screws and clips are removed, used a pry bar to prop up the top of the unit. This makes it much easier to get to the baffle screws from the outside of the drum. Removed old baffles and replaced with the new ones, vacuumed out the inside of the unit, and put it back together in about an hour. It took the parts about three business days to arrive, so it was time to do laundry by then!

One of the three baffles in the dryer drum had broken and separated from the retention screws.
I unscrewed the door hinges and the screw + plastic retaining clips opposite the door hinges. That allowed me to remove the fron of the dryer which, in turn allowed me to access the baffle screws on the outside of the dryer drum. It is VERY handy to have a finger wratchet with which to undo these baffle screws. Old baffle out/new baffle in and button up the front of the machine. Pretty easy.
I would like to say that Partselect did a great job in all aspects of this repair. The website ordering format was very easy to use, the price was great, and the part arrived quickly and well packed.

Replaced tall baffle
Unscrewed door and front panel. Pulled and took the, off. Used standing flashlight to illuminate the area underneath the dryer barrel. Tried various tools to take out broken plastic remnants. Then, used small electric nutdriver to screw the tall baffle into place with newly purchased metal screws. Was a bit hard to reach and tight but finally worked once I found an appropriate tool and top.
