Plastic piece on the dial cracked and stripped

First, I removed the old parts, there are 3 parts to the dial that was broken, one of the pieces stripped and I only had to replace that part. After taking them apart, I used the new piece, the Timer Dial Skirt, and put the 3 pieces back together. Easy as pie. The only trouble that I had was when I received the new part the first time, it was broken also and I had to order another one, which they got to me right away. Although, they did make me pay for shipping the 2nd time around.

They need to package them better, this was just placed loosely in a plastic baggie and the shipping company did not treat it well. Other than that, everything was very easy and quick.

Timer dial skirt broke

Removed cap from knob with a knife - took skirt off remaining part by using fingers and put timer knob back together. Total time less than 2 minutes. Could have ordered the entire knob for 10 dollars, but the skirt was only four dollars. Either way the repair was trivial and very easy.

The dryer still worked (got hot), but I had to turn it on and off with a hand held plyer. Y move the dryer knob and manually turn it off.

I watched the video two times, and it was so simple. I did exactly what the fix-it man told me to do, and presto. A dryer repair job for less than $12.00. And, it feels really good to do-it-yourself!Thankyou!

The timer dial broke

I pulled the dial off. Fit the three new parts together. I put in stem of the timer and turned the dryer on.Very easy, No tools required except a screw driver to pry the old knob off.
