This white lint filter is a slide-in style type of screen. This filter collects lint as it passes through the dryer vent. Please NOTE: You must be able to read the words "Clean Before Loading". If you cannot read the words, then it will not fit your appliance.

Old lint screen had a hole in it.

I found the replacement online for my cousin who is upthere in years. New part seemed to be the right one but fit very snuggly and needed a lot of elbow grease to put it in and out. Hope it gets easier for her or she'll probably go back to using the old one. Maybe it will eventually conform to the shape of the opening better.

Original lint filter had a hole in it

I've recently purchased, and moved into, this house. The existing clothes dryer contained a lint filter that had a tear, or hole, in it.
There are no tools required to remove and replace the filter, so the change to the new filter required no more than 5 seconds.
