Dryer was making a thump sound when drying clothes or when it came to a stop
My husband and I used a screwdriver to pry open the top of the dryer, then unscrewed the two front corners of it from the inside. Next, we disconnected wires attached to front lid, then pulled the big barrel of the dryer away from the rest of it. We put a new drum roller wheel on the left side and greased the inside perimeter of it. Next, we took off the old cushion set, and stuck on the newer set, and greased drum glide as well. Lastly, we took off the "old" belt, and replaced it with the one we purchased from PartSelect. We forgot how the old one came off the pulley, but after much trial and error, we figured it out in a snap! (this is why this project took us longer than we expected) In conclusion, this company for parts is wonderful and I have been referring them to all of my friends!

Extreme squeaking noise
I took the front off the cabinet (pry up front of top and remove two screws. Removed the drum, replaced the left rear drum support roller by removing one snap ring on shaft of roller and repacing after installing the new wheel. Reinstalled the drum, the hardest part of the repair was getting the belt back on the drum. It is hard to reach the belt to place it back on the motor. (small space to reach through) Being able to purchase a single wheel from this website saved me $50.00, the local suppier wanted to sell me a whole kit.

Dryer started making loud noises while running
The repair was relativley easy. Had to remove the top, it popped up with a screwdriver and picked it up and leaned against the wall. Then removed two screws to remove the front.Removed old belt then move dryer tub forward, removed bad roller bearing, installed new bearing, applied some grease ( had to use a screwdriver to pry bearing pin off/on which is reusable. Finally installed the new belt around tub, the most trickey part since there was no access panel, but after a few tries it was easy to figure out.Great price on items and i checked several places, quality parts and delivered only a couple days after i ordered. I highly recommend partselect. Thanks Kirt

Drum belt broke
Lifted top lid of cabinet using putty knife to release clips then removed front panel. Removed drum from unit and set aside. Found that one of the drum support roller wheels had lost the rubber roller. Removed old roller and secured new one which was an easy fix. Installing the drum belt was a bit more difficult as I had to do it alone. I threaded the belt through the pulley/control arm and held it taugt with one hand and then inched the belt around the drum while holding it in place with my knees. Took awhile but I got it secured. Would definitely help to remove one of the side panels of dryer or have someone assist you.
