Timer would go though all the cycles, but washer would not drain after the spin cycle.
Unplug washer form the electrical outlet. Remove cap on timer knob, then remove keeper (expansion button) to release the knob, knob will not just pull off without these steps. Remove the 6 screws on the upper cover, lift off cover, unplug timer and remove the one screw, depress tap, remove timer. Install new timer, reverse the above steps. Timer will still install fine if it comes in with one tabs broken off.
