Would not spin the water out of machine.

The pump motor was making quite a chattering noise about 2 months before it totally quit, Ordered part it was shipped very fast.(before the next wash day). Took the back off remove 2 hoses and 2 wires installed new motor. Very easy job and it is working very quite and great.

Washer would not emtpy the water from the tub

I removed the back panel and located on the left side of the washer removed the pump and replaced it.

Washer would not pump water out

Unplugged washer
Loosened 2 hose clamps with nut driver
Unplugged 2 power wires with pliers
Twisted motor in washer base to align with large holes and removed it
Attached wires to new motor
Replaced new motor, twisted back in base
Attached 2 hoses and tightened hose clamps
Test washing worked fine

Hose outlet no longer available with cylindrical filter, so current hose without filter is being used.

Lint fiter simple front load replacement for old one in Maytag MDE3000AYW dryer.
