Ice maker leaked, door gaskets bad

Loosened top two screws of ice maker, removed lower screw and slid unit up and out. Connector unplugged without a hitch. Transfered fill bar to replacement and installed unit. Snapped on the front facia and in less than 2.5 hours had my fist ice cubes. The door gaskets were also a breeze. Removed all screws from the doors and installed gaskets.. Again not a hitch..

Recently professionaly replaced gasket was not sealing.

Identified the necessary replacement part on partselect.com, ordered the part and paid less for it than we had paid the national repair company for their replacement part. The part was delivered three days later. It was the correct part -- the national repair company took two tries to do that. It was in perfect shape -- unlike the two parts that we had received from the national repair company. With instructions from the internet, the entire process of installing the gasket took me less than an hour. Now we have a good old refrigerator that is like new. Thanks PartSelect.com!
