Spray holes clogged by hard water deposits
I took off old upper spray arm by gently prying it and the retainer off the upper section of the dishwasher. When I first did this, two prongs of the original retainer clip broke off so I had to order a new retainer clip. The new arm fit perfectly in place and was easily held in place by the new retainer clip. This is a very simple and easy repair. The only tool I used was a flat headed screwdriver to pry off the old arm, but one could probably pry it off manually also.

Upper washer arm holes plugged up
The upper washer arm can be removed by just snapping it out of place. Just take a screw driver and put in underneath the spray arm and pry it out of its socket. It will just snap out its place. Sometimes this retainer will break so make sure you have this retainer before trying to remove the upper spary arm. I removed the spray arm and back flushed it out with a garden hose to get the debri out of the washer arm. The holes are all clean now. Washes much better now. To put in back on just put the washer arm back where it goes and then just snap the clip back in its hole. Pretty easy fix.

Spray arms were split in the seams & clogged
After I figured out how to remove the spray arms, and filter guard (that was the hardest part) it was a piece of cake. Just a matter of snapping the spray arm into the filter guard, and replacing it the dishwasher, and tightening it with the screw in retainer. Upper arm was also easy to replace after removing the top rack.

Grinding noise/dishes not washing properly. Soap not dissolving.
Other parts used:
Discharge Housing Assembly (#11)
Impeller Assembly (Wash Impeller) (#14)
O-Ring (#37)
Upper Discharge Housing Gasket (#38)
Removed upper and lower washing baskets.
Pulled off Upper Spray Arm (#33). It pulls off easily by hand. No tools required. Replaced with new Upper Spray Arm (#33) and Snap Spray Retainer (#31).
Removed Large Spray Arm Cap(#34,)which has a right hand thread. This allowed me to take the Lower Spray Arm(#2)off.
Removed Filter Guard (#36).
Next I removed the 6 screws from the Pump Cover & Secondary Filter Assembly (#4) with a Torx screwdriver. Removed Lower Spray Arm Seal(#3), Pump House Filter (#6)(which I cleaned), Assembly, Rinse Arm (#7) Jump Up Nozzle (#1). Unscrewed Discharge Housing Nut(#8) by hand. Removed Support, Wash Arm (#9). This allowed me to remove the three screws holding the Discharge Housing Assembly(#11)with a 5/16th nut driver. Next I removed the Impeller Screw (#12) with a 5/16th nut driver. You must hold the Impeller Assembly (#14) firmly while loosening the nut. Removed Impeller Assembly (#12) and Plate, Suction (#15). Cleaned out area of debris,lint, etc. Put back old Plate, Suction (#15) and replaced Impeller Assembly (#14) with new part. Replaced Upper Housing Gasket and Discharge Housing Assembly with new parts. Put back all parts in the reverse order I removed them replacing the O-Ring (#37) with a new part. This O-Ring goes in the Pump Cover & Secondary Filter Assembly (#4).
After completely assembled it ran as good as new!

Snap spray retainer had broken; sprayer arm had fallen off
Inserted snap spray retainer through center of sprayer arm, snapped whole thing into place, and I was done!

Dishwasher not cleaning dishes
Lower Dishrack assembly just rolled into the dishwasher-easy, easy, easy!
The Upper Spray Arm assembly- broke off tab to old arm using a screwdriver to pry off the tab. Pushed the new arm assembly and tab into place. The only problem was not to bend the prongs on the plastic tab (they bend back easily if you do happen to bend them, though)
My dishwasher cleans like new!!

Upper dishwasher arm fell off
I undid the four clips that attach the upper dish rack to the dishwasher. The upper arm simply unscrews from the top of the dishwasher. Unsnap clip that holds arm and remove arm. Installation is the reverse of removal.

Upper spray arm replacement
popped out the spray arm snap retainer that held in the upper spray arm and pushed the new snap retainer into the new upper spray arm to complete the job. I thought I must have done something wrong because it only took about a minute.

Old retainer was broken and spray difuser fell out.
Retainer easily holds spray difuser in place. I simply pressed the retainer into place and it fixed the probem.

Top spray arm fell off
First I attempted to epoxy the arm retainer back on. It would only last about half a cycle because of heat and water pressure. I thought the appliance was probably too old to get replacement parts. Through a web search I found PartSelect. Lo and behold they had the part I needed for less than five bucks. Installation was a snap fit, dishwasher works like new now. Thank you PartSelect.

Old spray arm was plugged up with build up.
Pull straight down to remove upper arm. Hold new arm in place and push the locking retainer into the center hole in the arm and locking it into the holder. Very simple.

The upper spray arm fell off
found a relatively tiny plastic retainer was broken and worn so it would not hold the spray arm in place and keep it in place for any length of time. Ordered the snap retainer, (postage was more than the part) put the snap retainer in place in the hole in the spray arm, and SNAP, the spray arm clicked into place and as made that reassuring snap sound. Saved mega bucks on a service call. Took a minute to do.
