I have always been mechanically inclined so when my dryer started making noise I turned it into a family project. I found your website and studied what could be the problem. My 13 year old son and I took the dryer apart and found that it was the front drum bearing. i ordered the parts and my son did most of the work. Only had to take out two screws holding the top on and two holding the front. Vacumed out lint and followed directions on your site to replace parts. up and running in about 30 minutes.

Constant squealing noise
Unplug the dryer from the wall. I took the door off by removing the 4 screws that held it on. Removed the 2 screws in the top of the door frame to allow the top to come off. The top lifted off and slid to the left about an inch to release it from the panel. There are 2 screws in the cabinet on the top left and right. Remove these and the front panel will pop off. You can disconnect the closed door switch if you want to but not needed to complete the job. The worn drum bearing pops out with a little force. Attatch the new glides to the new drum bearing. Your old bearing may have only had 2 glides, mine did. I installed 4 as there are slots for 4 glides. Remove the punch-out disk at the top of the bearing. Starting with the bottom, snap the new bearing into place. Remove the old felt. I started at the middle of the lower drum bearing using the middle of the felt and pushed it into the slot provided. Making sure the drum is positioned correctly in the bearing, close the front panel and reinstall the screws. Putting the top on requires a little finesse, just work with it and it'll work for you. Reinstall the screws in the top of the door frame to the top panel. Reinstall door. Plug in and test. It may make a rubbing noice but this should go away after use and the glides get worn in.

Dryer was shaking violently
Unscrewed the screws that hold the front of the driver in place. Replaced the felt and drum slides. Reattached front of dryer. The dryer is as good as new....

Loud noise when running
I followed other peoples instructions and comments on how to remove front cover, Thank you to them. It made this job simple to do. Them I replaced all of my parts that i ordered. Dryer works and sound great Thanks Again.

Squeaking noise coming from the front of the dryer
First I took the dryer apart to see what the problem was and found that the felt dryer guide had come off it's mount and was broken. Next I saw that the dryer glides were worn away and if it was used much more it would have ruined the whole housing. I ordered the parts from parts select and to my pleasant surprise they were there in two days. The glides sit right over the door and just slip right in. The felt goes on the bottom under the door and sits in a plastic guide in which the felt is placed I tied the ends of the felt down on the ends with a piece of small wire to make sure they stay in place. It's been two weeks since my repair and there are no problems.

Loud screeching noise when dryer was running.
Removed top of dryer, removed the front housing. Cleaned the interior of dryer cabinet and all the build-up of lint and other matter with shop vac. Placed front housing on work table and removed the old drum bearing and felt seal. Cleaned the old lint and crud from housing. Installed the new bearing and slides. Some of the seals had deteriated, so I used some weather stripping to re-seal the exhaust port and connector. Reinstalled the front panel and hooked up the electrical connections. Tested operation before replacing the top cover. Drum is now very smooth again, and no squeeking. Very simple repair. I might also mention, I priced these parts at a local parts house, and found I would have been better off buying a new machine if I had bought the parts localy. ( I forgot to mention I unpluged the machine before removing any parts.) Hope anyone reading this has as successful a job as I did.

Not drying clothes, felt seal hanging in the dryer
Took dryer apart replaced felt seal and the four drum slides put it back together works better now than when it was new!!!!!!

Upper bearing wore through
removed the front of the dryer and replaced the upper bearing, it was a very easy repair for what i thought might have been a terminal problem.

The dryer was squeeking loud
i opened the dryer door and took out the two bolts with phillips screw driver.i raised the top of the dryer up a little bit to un bolt the screws one on the left and one on the right.lift up on the front the dryer and pull out.you should be able to fix the problem. watch video of this sight how to help you fix problem it helped me alot.

Whining/grinding noise when running..
Basically, I ordered 2 slides the bearing and the felt, all of which I was told were "usually" the cause of the noise issues. I believe they were, I replaced them all and it runs quiet as a church mouse! Thank you for all the help..
