It has been leaking twice since 2007. Do the entire tubing need to be replaced instead of slicing it
For model number FRS26KF6EB8
Hi Geraldine,
Thank you for your question. The tube may be the issue, but you should also check the water inlet valve, the water filter and the water filter base. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My water line in the freezer door freezes up every 12-24 hours. I have to use a syringe of hot water to melt it and then I can use it until it freezes up again. My freezer temp is at the lowest and I just replaced the water filter. But it still is freezing up. Any thoughts as to how I can fix this? I am thinking about replacing the hose itself, part number 218976419. Just not sure what to do.
For model number FFSS2614QE6A
Hello David, thank you for your question. First, test that the thermostat is set correctly and using a multi meter. The recommended freezer temperature to keep your food safe is at or below 0°F (-18°C), but your freezer may need to be set higher or lower depending on its environment and other factors. The water inlet valve requires a certain amount of water pressure to function properly. We hope these suggestions are helpful.
