Timer knobs broken, timer hard to turn
UNPLUG APPLIANCE PREVIOUS DAY.removed metal panel(six screws) behind knobs.compare new switch to old. transfer wires to new switch one at a time. gently turn switch counter clockwise while lifting just enough on plastic that prevents switch from turning. install new switch opposite manner.I added one very small wood screw in whole provided to stabilize switch. must be short and skinny1/8x #2 so as not to break or protrude plastic.Maybe GE left out of mine and others have screw?Knobs just pull off and push on except the timer on washer has a clip between knob and bezel (see video on website.)
