When washing loads the clothes were not moving.
The agitator was not turning the clothes so I bougth the agitator kit and was an easy fix. Took me about ten minutes to installed. What was best was the price, under fiftheen dollars. With the economy this bad fitheen dollars was cheaper than buying a new one.

Agitator failure
Diagnosing the problem took a couple of hours, because the fabric softener dispenser was so full; I tried to pry it apart but to do that I had to destroy it!:-) While I was cleaning the place for the dispenser I decided to take off the cover, clean out everything - then ordered the parts. Once the parts arrived I watched the video for assembly ... and the rest was easy.

Upper agitator & cogs wore out
I pulled the cap and took a socket wrench turned the stud agit off and removed the upper agitator. Than I assembled the new agitator with the new clogs put the agaiator back on and tightened the stud agit. Replaced new cap and done! Easy job!! Everything is working like new again. This whirlpool washer is 14 years old and still going strong!

Agitator top not working
Repair was very easy for me and I have three fingers missing on one of my hands. Video on repair was also very detailed. I ordered three extra parts that were already included in the agitator kit. Would have been nice if all parts were listed that came in the kit and add a small tube of the grease. Delivery time was great! I would order from this company again, I was very pleased. I have already referred a friend to the site for her repairs.

Washer machine wouldnt wash
Turns out the agitator directional cogs were really worn and chipped so they werent allowing it to rotate therefore my clothes were not comming out clean. Also upon taking apart the agitator i saw that the fabric softener dispenser was VERY clogged with gunk! I had bought this appliance used so i really had no idea. So first i removed the fabric softener dispenser, then the cap then i loosened the 7/16th bolt to release the top 1/2 of the agitator and then took the dogs (or cogs as other people call them) out and replaced them, then did the steps in reverse to put it back together. Before i put it together i had to really clean all the gunky build up. Works like a charm!

Washer would not spin
took off back and sides to the washer. laid the washer on it's back and removed worn and broken parts. replaced these parts and put everything back together. The top part of the agitator hasn't worked in a while, while we had it apart we also replaced the clogs. The washer works better than it has in a long time. Spins a lot more water from the clothes which makes drying faster. I would surely do this again. A lot cheaper than a new washer.
