Agitator would not turn during wash cycle
First raise the lid on the washer then remove the agitator by placing hands under the agitator 180 degrees apart and pulling up. Pulling up one side and then the other until the agiator lifts up and off. Mine was stuck tight so I had to really work it back and forth to get it loose. Be careful while lifting on the agitator because when it comes loose it could hit you in the face since you are over it while lifting. Once you get the agitator off use a 7/16 socket and 3/8 rachet and remove the coupling. Place the new coupling on the shaft, making sure to line up the splines on the shaft and the coupling and install the 7/16 bolt and thighten it. Place the agitator on the coupling by lining up the splines and pushing down on the agitator until it seats. Time to repair was 30 minutes.

Stripped agitator, would not move during wash cycle
drilled off top plate of agitator to gain access ot bolt, removed bolt, removed agitator, replaced coupler and new bolt, snapped in place new agitator.

Agitator will not spin
Agitator would not spin and it was going to cost me I've a hundred soars for someone to come and fix it. I looked on this sight and found out what I thought was the problem and ordered four parts to fix it. I was amazed because they came in two days later. I started withe coupling which was the cheapest part and instaled it and it fixed it to return the other parts I called the 800 number and they emailed me a return authorization and I sent it back so it cost me 15 dollars and five minutes to fix it.

Agitator came off of spline and broke
The bolt that held the agitator assembly on had sheared off. Had to drill out the old bolt out of the spline. After that, it was very easy. Just bolt the agitator assembly onto the spline and it worked like a charm

Old one had developed rough or little jagged edges on the side
Just used hands to pry open the old agitator from the washer. If one angle does not work try another and go in a clockwise direction. The new agitator had a new coupling at the bottom, so I needed something to push it out from the top, found a long metal rod and easily pushed it down and out. Verified that new coupling was exactly the same as the old one. The old one was good so I just pushed the new agitator down on the old coupling and it worked fine.

The wife told me that the wash just wasn’t coming out very clean.
The wife told me that the wash just wasn’t coming out very clean. So I went to check it out and found that the agitator was just moving freely. Upon closer inspection I found that the coupler had stripped.
I was unable to get the agitator free from the coupler so I had to drill out the inside top of the agitator in order to get at the bold that held the coupler in place. Once I got that out the rest was real simple.
Just bolt in the new coupler and snap in the new agitator into place. That can be harder that you think.
I used a block of wood laid across the top and just tapped it with a hammer to set the unit in place.
Make sure that when you take it apart to save the bolt and the old cap unless you ordered a new cap.
