I had an issue where my knob was cracked for the dryer timer. I ordered a new knob but it still would not work. Then it looked like part of the stem on the dryer timer was shaved off possibly from trying to force it to turn with a bad knob so i ordered a new timer with the exact same model number. It seems like it doesn’t stick out of the hole far enough for the knob to click on and the timer assembly seems like it doesn’t lock into place very well. Not sure what to replace next. Thank you for any help you can offer.

Hello Adam, Thank you for your inquiry. Check the D-Shaped Knob Insert Clip as that needs to go onto the shaft in order for the knob to go on. Hope this helps!

My knob connector broke off in my knob. Can I replace the whole control panel?

Thank you for your question. If the piece that broke is the shaft that the knob goes on, then you will need to purchase the switch that the shaft is a part of.
