Are the shelves dishwasher safe? Also it appears the water reservoir may be broken? There is a dried brown crystal looking substance in below the reservoir in the fridge. There is also Styrofoam around the reservoir/shelves. Can this be removed? We just moved into a new condo and this is the existing fridge. If someone could get back to me that will be great! I also have photos. Thanks!

Hello Leah, Thank you for the question. The Shelves should be removed and set out until they warm to room temperature, and then washed by hand. The Styrofoam should be there to help stabilize the reservoir. If it is leaking it can be replaced, PartSelect Number PS12578586. We hope this helps!
