Easy Repair
The old valve on my GE refrigerator was somehow clogged, resulting in low flow to the ice maker and water dispenser. The new valve was easy to install and immediately improved the water flow back to normal.

Repair was easy, receiving my order was not!
Part Select was not the first web site I tried and I don't try them again. The web site said the part was in stock so I paid the extra money for 2 day shipping. 3 Days later I got an e-mail saying the part was on back order. I called to find out what happened to the in stock status shown on their web site. The answer I got was they had a mistake in their inventory, but I was welcome to cancel the order. I suspect they show everything as in stock to lure you into using them over another on line supplier. In my case I fell for it. I opted to keep the order but asked for my money back on the 2 day shipping extra charge, which they did. 14 days after I got the notification that the part finally shipped, the part arrived. All total it took 20 days to get a part that was suppose to be in stock. No way I'll use Part Select again. Access to the valve was real easy and it took all of 15 minutes to change it out

Water trickling out of refrigerator water dispenser.
1. Verified good water flow by unplugging incoming water and makIng sure there was good pressure.
2. Re-attached water supply line and unplugged water line after the electronic valve to test water pressure from valve when hitting the dispense button in the front of the refrigerator.
Found very little flow directly ... Read more after the valve.
Replaced valve and now everything is good. (Refrigerator is less than 2 years old)
