After giving detailed description I was sent the wrong part. Even though the gasket was 3 inches too narrow and was for the left door and not the right door I was told it would fit if heated with a hair dryer. I did not heat the part and returned it. I purchased the correct gasket from the manufacturer and have installed the gasket without a problem. Now awaiting refund of incorrect part.

I am looking for the replacement door gasket for the right door of my KitchenAid refrigerator. The right door is larger than the left and the gasket is clearly larger as well. It seems like the parts listed for replacement is the same for left and right. After reading the negative customer review for the door gasket "8", it appears there are two different parts. Can you help direct me to the correct part number?

This model is a french door with bottom freezer. Which gaskets fits the right side and which the left side (as you look at the exterior). The doors are not the same size. Thank you.
