The refrigerator and freezer stopped getting cold after the some water flooding in the basement.
I safely unplugged the power from the refrigerator first before starting the repair. I then had to remove the bottom access panel which is secured with hex head screws, then disconnected the two plugs from the two failed parts that connects to the appliance compressor. The fridge and freezer sections will not cool.The fan in the freezer works.I purchased a capacitor from you but that not solve the problem. Would replacing the "Start-Dev" partselect #PS12070730 solve the problem? Thanks for your time,

The freezer temperature is too warm - about 23 degrees. The fridge temp is ok - about 40 degrees. Problem started about a month ago. I noticed ice production had really slowed down. Fan motor in freezer is ok.
