My husband pulled out the stove turned the gas off then he pulled out the part and replaced igniter....it took only about 20 min to do this job it was very easy and prior to us doing ourselves i called a well known company that does home repairs, I also called a few smaller businesses and to replace this part was anywhere from $175- 250 if not more. we are very very happy with our decision to replace the part ourselves unstead of spending extra money we didnt have .

I just unscrewed the old one out, which was 2 screws and screwed this one in. But the thing that was best of all was how fast the part came in. It literally came the next day.
Installing the part was really easy. I first turned the gas off, simply remove two screws tht hold the igniter in place. I then remove four screws from the back panel and disconnected the part. The feedback from other users on your site made me realize how easy it was. It took less than thirty minutes.
Removed the panels, disconnected and dismounted the igniter and installed the new one. Pretty simple.

This repair was easy as could be to screw take off the diffuser four screws in the back two little screws on the igniter
pulled the stove out removed back cover, unplug then unscrew igniter. Mounted new igniter in place, plug it back in , put cover back on, put stove back in place. Took about 20 min. Very easy repair, thank you.
I took apart the bottom of the oven to see the ignighter. I moved the oven away from the wall and took off the metal plate that covers the ignighter electrical connection.Unplug the old part and plug in the new one. With the nutdriver remove the two screws holding the part onto the gas tube. Save the screws and attach the new part with them. Turn on the oven to see if the gas tube lights. If all is good put the metal plate on the back of the oven and replace the other oven parts. Make biscuits!!
Unplugged 110 cord from outlet. Shut off gas supply. Removed rear cover (4) screws to access plug to ignitor. Removed boiler stove bottom drawer to access ignitor removed 2 machine screws 5/16 nut driver for ignitor replaced ignitor. I did no trouble shooting just took logical guess.
