Product Description

Bake Element (13.5" long x 18.5" wide) Specifications

This bake element, used in ranges, supplies heat for baking purposes and is located at the bottom of the oven. The terminals have a depth of three inches. The element is 13 1/2 inches long and 18 1/2 inches wide. If there is little to no heat when baking, a burned-out bake element, or food is taking too long to cook, these symptoms could be solved by replacing this part. Remember to unplug the appliance from the power source or shut off from the house circuit breaker as a safety precaution. You will need a Phillips screwdriver to complete this repair. Refer to the manual provided by the manufacturer for further instructions.

The lower bake element blew up.
I had My friend from church come over and look at the problem. He said that it could be fixed, so he looked up the part and ordered the part. It came in two days, it took about 15 minutes to install the part and put the back back on. It was that easy! Thank you! Now i don't have to buy a new stove!!

not proper heat in oven
ordered part -got it the next day- stalled as long as I could then opened oven removed racks-used screwdriver to loosen screws in bracket holding element on- pulled out element-used pliers to take off wires in element-thew old element as far as possible-reversed procedure to put in new element-replaced rack-received praises of all afffected-the end

The bake element burned in half, shorted out, made the lights in the house flick and burst in to a short lived flame.er
Exactly:
(e.g. First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires...)

Burned out bake element
Went together real easy , but I poped a fuse/circuit braker.
The braker would not reset at first, but we got it all working fine.
