This part only fit my Maytag dishwasher (model MDB4621AWS0) after I HACKSAWED through 4 horizontal ribs on the front right corner of the rack (to create an indent matching that of the original and clearing otherwise obstructing interference with the dishwasher door). Your statement - "As per the manufacturer this part has been updated . It may appear different from the original but it will still function the same" - needs a little adjustment too. I don't care whether Maytag actually did revise this part or PartSelect had its own "universal" replacement designed. For over $110, this is disappointing. Also, as to why I did not simply return my purchase and get my money back (which you freely offered), that's even more of a hassle than getting out the old hacksaw.

I am looking for the lower rack for my dishwasher. The one shown in the diagram, the lower one is the only shape that will fit because of the door indentation for the detergent box. I have ordered two from sears parts direct and they sent me two of the same racks which were wrong. They were square like the upper rack. The sub # wpw10525643 is the one they used and it did not fit. Can anyone locate a rack? One of the reviews has a customer ordering the same thing and he was sent the same part that i have got.Thank you

Hello James, thank you for your question. The lower dishrack for this unit is PS11727812. This is the compatible replacement rack for this unit and the only one that will work with that unit. I hope this helps.

I have the same problem finding this lower dishrack. The one they keep sending me (w10833650) doesn't fit the dishwasher because it is not notched to allow for the soap dispenser on the dishwasher door. The dishwasher door won't close. Can you find the correct lower dishrack for this model number? I can send pictures if you want, let me know.

Hello Ricardo, Thank you for the question. The w10833650 is the replacement rack for this model number. Kenmore has discontinued the original rack 8519565. The only rack we have access to at this time is the w10833650. For more specialized assistance or to speak with someone about this, I would suggest calling the manufacturer of the appliance directly.
