Ice maker not making ice

I removed the old ice maker and replaced it with a new one and saved over $150. It was very easy and there is lots of ice now.

It wouldn't eject ice cubes .

Removed the 1/4" screw at right rear corner of the ice maker , pushed up on the springy lever on the left front under side and pulled it out far enough to unplug the power connector. This involves prying a tab on the connector so you can get iit apart. Then pulled out the ice maker and reassembled in reverse order. Point started working right away
