One of the rollers broke on the middle rack of my 3 rack Quiet Series Maytag. There were 4 or 5 screws to remove (T15 Torx) to replace the rack adjuster assembly. The whole job took less than 10 minutes.

I had changed a rack adjuster several years ago but decided to take a look at your videos before starting the repair. I watched both videos and then did exactly as suggested. The repair went very quickly and was extremely easy.
Jesse, from San Jose (above) describes the situation perfectly. Here's the unique thing I noticed: the replacement parts are exact replacements! They fit well, and do the job admirably. I've ordered parts from Sears for older appliances, and the replacement part sometimes isn't what was originally used. Bottom line, Parts Select is awesome.
Removed the tabs that hold the middle rack in place and slid the rack out of the dishwasher. Replaced the left adjuster by removing 5 or 6 torx screws. Slid rack back into the dishwasher. Hardest part of this job was finding the part - Sears and other parts suppliers indicted the adjuster was no longer available...and suggested we buy a new rack at over $150. The $36 we spent on the adjuster and doing the job ourselves probably saved us a repair bill of over $250 had we called a repair firm.
Popped off the end keepers and slid out upper basket. Removed screws and pulled off broken part. Screwed new papt in place and slid back and replaced end keepers.
Removed 5 screws joining assembly housing halves; detached old part; cleaned inside of fixed assembly half and adjustment lever; joined new part and replaced screws. Replacement part has metal axles; too bad original wheels had only plastic!
Removed end caps and slid out top rack. Removed 5 screws from broken assembly, installed new assembly and put rack back in dishwasher. My wife tells me that the rack rolls easier than when it was new.
Followed the online video instructions. Super easy.
I removed the top rack from the dishwasher. The screws on the cover plates were removed on the adjuster. The new adjuster on both sides were replaced and the cover plates were screwed back on. The rack was placed back into the dishwasher.
A wheel broke off of the upper shelf in my diswasher. I had to replace the adjuster with the attached wheels. The repair was so easy, took out 5 screws, replace adjuster. It was just that easy. The real surprise was how quickly the part arrived. They said 3-5 days. I got the thing the next day. Sweet.
I popped off the end retainers from the roller guides and removed the middle basket from the dishwasher. I found my Torx 10 screw driver and removed the 6 screws. I removed the broken rack adjuster assembly and lined up the replacement. I put the screws back in and tightened them. It was easy to roll the basket back into the roller guides and pop the end retainers back in place. Job done. It took less than 15 minutes, including the time to find my Torx screw driver.
Thanks to the good online instructions it went very smoothly. Took rack out of dishwasher, removed 5 screws and took rack lifter assembly apart. Fit new assembly piece on and replaced 5 screws. Put rack back in dishwasher.
I watched the video on line and did exactly as it said. Very easy repair. No issues. Worked like a charm.
My husband removed top rack, installed new rack adjusters and it was ready to go!
checked video and comments of previous customers. Had to buy torque wrench so although we have lots of tools we did not have this type of wrench. No indication of it needed when we ordered part, no written instructions with part. What do people do who are not able to have a video accessible to them as they install? Without video we would have had much more difficulty.Had tried to order replacement wheel...seems odd that since it is reported that the wheels (plastic) have frequent breakage issues that you cannot just replace it instead of a $50 larger part. It is hard to find repair people in our rural area so glad to have online access. Good service from this company, prompt arrival etc.
