Door latch pivot broke

Removed door panel torx screws using an electric screwdriver (makes for fast removal). Removed old door latch assembly by pulling off 2 connectors. Got the part number from the back of the assembly and ordered it. Got the new assembly in 3 days. Put the assembly in exactly the same as in was taken out. Having the exact same part takes all the guesswork out of doing this fix. Put in and align all the screws, but do not tighten down until they are all in place. Saved at least 100 dollars.

Broken latch handle

Just like you describe in the online instructions. Disconnected the power supply, removed door screws (torex),romoved electrical connections from old switch, installed them on new switch, aligned door screw holes, and reassembled. As a long time do-it yourselfer, this is one of the best experiences that I have had over the years. The part arrive by ground Fedex the day after I ordered it.As the MAN said "I'll be back" for my other appliance parts when needed.

Latch would'nt open the door to the dishwasher

received the new latch assembly quickly from part select.com, when you remove the screws on inside of the door, the old latch needs to be disconected from the wire harness, then replaced with new assembly and screws.10 minute job and it could not have been any easier to complete.

Black handle broke and door would not lock anymore

The video for this repair was helpful, and the only issue that I had was changing the electric connections that are held on tightly with plastic clips that need to be pried open for removal and replacement. MAKE SURE YOU DISCONNECT POWER AT YOUR FUSE BOX!!

Door handle/latch broken

I am very impressed with Partselect.com! Your easy to use website made finding the part easy. THEN your website had detailed photographs of the part on a grid to give me confidence that I had found the correct part.

So, part arrives in a couple days and I immediately return to the website to review the how-to video. Removing the old and replacing the new was a breeze. There was no doubt or second-guessing, the website had all the answers.

Any more appliance work and I will be back!

Door handle would not latch

remove nine 5/8" long torx head screws, lift out door latch assembly and disconnect spade connectors from 2 switches. This took a little levering from a flat screwdriver. Reverse procedure. Install replacement assembly by inserting spade connector and placing assembly in door. reinstall nine torx screws, two of which hold the reinstalled door latch. Hardest part of this job was to your knees while removing the screws.
