Replace hinge and hinge spring assembly.
I mounted the left and right hinge assemblys into the washer (spring assembly) and then mounted the glass top on to the hinge assemblies. Inserted the screws and tightened as required.

The lid hinge mounting screw (ps11748160) broke at about 1/4 inch below the head under normal use. Do do you have instructions to remove the defective screw?

Hello Bud, Thanks for your question. This is a torx screw so you will need a torx tip to remove it. With the head broken, you may need pliers to remove the broken portion. I hope this helps.
