I am getting 1.5 omms on the safety valve test. Is this appropriate reading?
For model number SF315PEPB3
PartSelect logo
Hi Juan, Thank you for your inquiry. When testing the valve, it should be showing anything between 0 and 5 ohms of resistance. So it sounds like your valve is in good shape. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair!

My oven doesn't heat up. But the pilot light up but no gas. Does it need no#10 or no#13 part to work. Thanks. Every thing works but that.
For model number SF315PEPbi

Hello Bruce, Thank you for the question. I suggest testing the igniter first. It can light and glow red but may not give enough volts to open the valve. If the igniter is good, the Valve PartSelect Number PS11747502 will need to be replaced. Hope this helps, good luck with this repair!

What voltage is needed from igniter to safety gas valve to open valve. What ohms reading should i get on the gas safety valve
For model number WFG111SVQ0
PartSelect logo
Hello Craig, Thank you for contacting us. Test for 3.2-3.6 volts AC at the gas safety valve with the igniter turned on. If the voltage is there, you have a bad safety valve. If the voltage is low, you have a weak igniter. Hope this helps!

Does oven safety valve also control oven temperature after oven is lite. The glow plug is lite but no gas is released to the burner.
For model number WFG111SVQ0
PartSelect logo
Hello Craig, Thank you for the question. The igniter can still glow but not give off enough AMPs for the valve to open. I suggest testing the igniter first to make sure it is strong enough. If so then you may need to replace the Valve. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!

oven ignites but will shuts off after a while, will not reach temperature needed before shutting itself off
For model number wfg114swqo
PartSelect logo
Hello Ronnie, thank you for contacting us. We would recommend checking the igniter, part number PS11770066, and the oven sensor, part number PS11749737. These are the most probable culprits of the issue and can be tested with a multimeter for continuity. Also, please make sure the vents of the range are clean. Customer service is always available to help you place an order if you are having trouble doing so. Good luck with your repair.

I have a replacement part that has the number 2306 B7004252JNAT but all the other numbers below are the same as what is shown in your replacement part. I cannot get the gas to adjust in the oven to just blue flame. Is this the wrong part and putting out too much gas?
For model number Wfg320M0bb2

Hi Timothy, thank you for the question. Based on our research, the compatible gas control valve for your model is part number PS11747502. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope that helps!

Oven will light when cold then loose temp and not relight to maintain heat. Will work if on 500°.
For model number Wfg505m0bb0
PartSelect logo
Hi Charles, Thank you for your question. If the oven is not heating correctly, the issue may be with the oven sensor. The oven temperature sensor is the part that monitors the oven temperature and signals the electronic control board to turn the elements on and off. Before removing this part from the oven and testing it with a multimeter for continuity, unplug the oven from the electrical outlet. A normal reading should be 1100 ohms, but as readings vary from model to model, you will need to reference your owner’s manual to determine what the correct reading should be. To test it for continuity, use a multimeter on the Rx1 setting and touch the terminals with the probes. This test needs to be done with the sensor at room temperature to produce accurate results. If your test results do not meet the manufacturer’s guidelines, you need a replacement temperature sensor. If the sensor is fine, you will need to check the igniter, the electronic control board and the wiring between the parts to see which one is causing the issue. If you have any questions, please let us know. We are open 7 days a week. We look forward to hearing from you!
