Easy repair switch works,, but not OEM
Quick and easy replacement but the part is not OEM. It does not have the "push-to-turn" safety feature as the original did. Aside from that the part works fine so far, so no real complaints.

Part fit and works as expected.
I was a bit skeptical at first because I couldn't tell for sure if this part was right for my dual 10" burner on my GR460LXLC1 Whirlpool Range. However, once it arrived I popped the back off my range, removed two screws and replaced the switch with the new one. It went back together really easy and works like a charm.

Front left dual burner switch
Very simple matched perfectly took less than 15 minutes to fix. My burner was always on high regardless of where the dial was turned.

Burner would only stay on high
Pulled range out and disconnected the electric. Took off the back panel 6 screws. Removed the burner knob and than the 2 screws holding the switch and replaced switch. Now the burner works like it should

1. This range left front burner has a dual control infinite switch - rotating the switch counterclockwise (ccw) from off controls the single burner from low to high, rotating clockwise (cw) controls dual burners from low to high. Does switch ps11747308 control the dual burner this way (please confirm it is the correct part for the dual burner)? 2. The symptoms are: When rotating the switch ccw the single burner stays fully on from all low to high positions. When rotating cw both burners stay fully on from all low to high positions. Is the fix for this - replace the switch?
For model number RF378LXMT

Left front of Inglis stove. When turning switch on either on dual, the element heats to a very steaming hot temperature. It does not matter if switch is on low or hot. Would replacing this switch solve problem or is it the element itself. Thanks
Hello Gary, Thank you for the question. This is normally an indication the Switch is defective and will need to be replaced. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
