Oven wouldn't heat,no gas smell,no glowing ignitor

Remove diffusers in bottom of oven, remove two screws that hold ignitor in place.Pull oven out, to access back of oven, remove three screws holding vented panel in place.Remove panel, find wires coming from ignitor, pull connectors apart and remove old ignitor.Install new ignitor in reverse order.Too bad for my wife it works fine now,she had a new oven/range picked out!

Ignitor not heating enough to light stove

Remove the cover housing the ignitor. Unscrew the 4 screws to get to the ignitor. Remove two screws to remove the ignitor. Those two screws might be ceased up and will need some excessive force if heads get stripped. Use a needle nose vise grip to remove if you run into this. Once removed, open cover at back of oven. Disconnect the two leads for the ignitor which one will go to the gas control valve and the other will be up towards the top left. Pull ignitor out. Installation is reverse of removal.
