No instruction sheet included
The instruction sheet was not included with the part, however, was available online. I thought this part would solve my problem (dishwasher detergent cup not releasing) and it did. The instant the new part arrived, the old one began working and I have not had to actually replace the old one, but, I am very glad to have the new one on hand due to the age of this dishwasher (1995 installation).

detergent cup would not open
Shut off power to dishwasher. Removed front panel-4 screws on inside of door. Pull the wires off the switch. Remove the switch by taking out the 1/4" screws. Put wires on the new switch and replace the items you removed. Power up and test.

Detergent cup would not open during wash.
Easily removed four screws holding the front door panel on, then accessed the two 1/4 in. hex head screws holding the old switch with the 1/4 in. nut driver. The electrical terminals are pull off/push on and then I re-assembled the new switch to it's mounting bracket. Re-assemble the door face, fixed!!!!
