Dryer would not start
After reading a previous review about how easy this was to repair I decided to save the 125.00 repair charge and do it myself. It was very easy and took under 20 minutes. I just set the timers side by side, moved the wires one by one to the new timer and placed everything back in, works great! I would recommend doing it yourself.

Bad Timer - Dryer wouldn't start - husband diagnosed problem
- Unplugged dryer
- Back of dryer
- Removed metal panel behind controls
- Removed dryer timer knob from front
- removed 2 screws in back holding timer
- Matched new timer with old on wire configuration
- Reversed process for reinstallation.
- REALLY easy - just make sure power in unplugged.
- Don't forget while you are back there, perfect time to vacuum out all "dust bunnies" and such from the entire back of dryer.
