Leak around gasket
Long story short, noticed one of two leaks and came to conclusion there is no workaround since sump pump gasket seems to be hermetically sealed to sump pump. ... Read more dishwasher. I put 1 to 2 hours because I took my time and made sure all parts fit correctly and were back in their original place. Didn't want to take any chances in not covering bases. I am no expert, but definitely a diy'er. I believed I saved myself anywhere from $200 to $300 in labor costs by repairman. By the way, thanks Parts Select your info and site are awesome!!! The second part I had to order was the water inlet valve and your phone representative was a big help over the phone, please don't eliminate those positions. Overall total price of parts approximately $130 w/delivery. Well worth it, since a brand new halfway decent dishwasher starts at $550.

Just bought the pump. Pulled out the old pump. Inside the sump where the implore on the pump connects to the sump is a plastic gear. That gear is loose, i could pull it out. Appears to be broken - but not sure. If it's broken - does a new sump come with all the parts? Or do i need to salvage parts from my existing sump to put into the new sump. The pictures of the sump do not clearly indicate if the internal parts are already there.

Thank you for your question. If you take a look at your diagram there this is part number 4. Your diagram actually shows the parts that will come separately from your sump. This part is just your sump housing, it looks like any internal parts would not come with it. You do have assemblies that you can choose from underneath your model depending on what you need to come inside of your sump. Good luck with your repair.

The dishwasher seems to have good pressure and water flow to lower wash arm but there isn't any water going up the tube to middle wash arm nor the upper wash arm. The dishwasher sounds normal when running. I did clean the sump and check for clogged water ways, all good. Do you have any idea where to check next?
Hello David, Thank you for the question. You may have a defective Circulation Pump and Motor, PartSelect #: PS11757388. The part functions by spinning the impeller of the circulation pump, which is used to move the water through the spray arms during the wash cycle. If it is defective, water may not reach the middle and top spray arms. Hope this helps!

I am looking for a door gasket for my Amana dish washer. Is part number ps5136129 the correct part? It appears to be, but when i click on what dish washers it fits to, only Kenmore model numbers come up.

Can the seal for the pump be ordered separately?
Pump appears to be in good working order but the seal is starting to disintegrate.

I am replacing the check valve (thank you for the videos-super helpful). The bottom of the sump where the valve goes and where the chopper assembly is located is full of water that never drains. Is this how it should be? The videos don’t show water in this area. If not, any suggestions on how to fix that? Thank you.
