I screwed the rack mount to the spindle usingthe extra screw I ordered. I removed the upper dishrack's front stops and slid the rackout. I clamped the mount to the dishrack. I screwed the rotor to the spindle with the screw that came with the rotor kit. I slipped the feed tube mount over the end of the tube and clamped it on the dishrack. I replaced the rack in the slides and replaced the front stops.I had a hard time driving the screws. The slots are crossed but do not seem to be standard Phillips. The screws were hard to drive into the holes in the hard plastic. Before I could drive the mount screw all the way, the slot was too stripped to use.
Removed broker washer arm mount with screwdriver and replaced. New parts clipped right on to upper rack, no tools needed. Didn't really need to replace the tube holder but it was brittle so I put it in the order.
Removed upper basket and installed the arm. New snap in didn't require phillips screwdriver as old one and new support had split to insert. Replacing upper spray spinner dropped screw down around pump. This caused misery unassembling lower covers to receive Stainless Steel, so magnet won't help ended up with mirror and hemistat to reach through large screen figures. So make sure to put towel or something in the bottom to catch parts.
The piece snapped into place in the upper wire shelf, so it was quick and easy to fix. The only glitch was that the part was slightly different from the original, even though the item pictured on the website matched the original part. As a result, the spray arm sits slightly lower and now hits my dinner plates on one side of the lower shelf, so i cannot wash as many plates at one time as I used to. But at least the washer is working again. I will just have to live with the new limitation.
Followed video. No Problem with installation.
The original washer arm mount was held with a clip and stainless screw. The replacement was a simpler snap clip, but the shaft was "heavier" plastic. I was doubtful with the snap clip, but I have had no issues in the past two weeks.Remove the old orignial clip with screw. Remove and SAVE the washer arm retining screw. Look at the orientation of the new clip and shaft. The shaft should be canted to your LEFT so that the washer arm clears the bottom of the rack. Simple snap in install. If you guess wrong at first, simply unclip and reverse. Screw in the washer arm retaining screw. Viola!
Took about 10 mins. Only problem was that is was an updated part. Different color (no big deal), but mounting was different. The old mount had a stainless steel screw holding, and this one was just a "snap in". No bidg deal, working good...
all i did is to remove the screws out take out the damaged ones and replace them the new ones put the screws back, it was very easy, it save me time and money. Thank-you part select.com
I used a nut driver to remove the broken part. I should have marked the original position of the part beore I removed it. I then needed a square drive screwdriver to complete the disassembly. A little trial & error and I found the correct location to do the remount.I also tried to replace one of the rack rollers, but ordered the wrong part. The photos online weren't quite enough for an easy ID of the correct part. I needed a roller with a right angle mount.
Received unit in two or three days even during Christmas rush.Replaced sprayer with just a screwdriver in no time and dishwasher is working perfectly. PartSelect is the only way to go. I have used them for other parts and they are always prompt and easy to identify parts on their website.
My husband put too many things in the dishwasher and it interfered with the upper spray arm. The piece that fastens the upper arm to the top basket broke. Bummer....I run the darn thing at least once a day. I ordered the part (super easy to do) and it was here the next day. (I only had to do one load by hand). I used a screwdriver to detach the arm, replaced the piece and screwed the new one in place. Five minutes-done.My husband was impressed. Duh!:-)
a mater of unscrewing the part attached to the upper drawer...........placing new pieces together and srewing them on...............schematic on your web site was perfect.......had pieces sent over night.........wonderful experience
Extremely easy. Put part in the upper basket of the diswasher and hooked up the spay arm. If you know how it came off, you should know how it went back on, is the motto. The part fit perfectly and this website did a great job of pictures for comparison.
Removed one screw holding remainder of the upper spray arm bracket from the top basket. Removed one screw from the underneath side of the spray arm holding it to the Wash Arm Tube Holder. Attached the new Wash Arm Tube Holder to the spray arm, then the whole assembly to the top basket.PartSelect was GREAT. The pictures on the web site made it easy to determine which part was needed. I ordered around 5pm and chose standard 3-day shipping, but to my surprise the parts showed up at 10:30 am the next day! I'll be back!!
