easy breezy
the part was a simple but important dishwasher water deflector and just needed to be popped in once it arrived. Very happy with the results, cost was acceptable, it seemed to take a bit longer to get shipped than I expected but that could also be a result of the pandemic.

Fixed the front leak
The symptom was a small water leak at the front of the machine with water on the top edge of the lower panel below the door. Upon examination, the corner seal parts that turned out to be the "Water Deflectors" had hardened with age and did not appear to seal against the door properly. I ordered the new parts which were easy to find on the PartSelect web site. The old parts pulled up and off with a little rocking. I thoroughly cleaned the pockets and installed the new parts with a simple push down. That took care of the leak.

Water Deflector
This was the part that I ordered and worked well. It is over priced though.

Dish Washer was leaking badly
Simply removed deflectors and gasket, replaced all , took all of 5 mins. workes great now.
This repair was very simple. I opened the door of the dishwasher then pulled the old rubber seal (gasket) out; I checked the old gasket to with the new one to ensure the new one was correct then installed the new one. There are two small rubber pieces located in mounting slots below the door gasket that slide out; I slide the old ones out
... Read more and slide the new ones in. No tools required. The thing that made the whole job easier was ordering the parts from Parts Select; I couldn't find exactly what I needed on the Whirlpool website but I found exactly what I needed on the Parts Select website and the parts were a perfect match.

My dishwasher appears to be leaking along the bottom of the door. The drain seems to be working ok. You can hear the water running into the sink drain. Do you have any ideas as to what i should do to correct this problwm
For model number DU930PWKQ0
Hi Bryan, thanks for getting in touch. If your dishwasher is leaking, the most common problem we have reported is a bad door gasket. Water leaking from inside door insulation is dripping with water.Have replaced door gasket. But leak is from inside door
What do i do now?
For model number DU1055XTVQ0
Hello Edward, thank you for your question. It sounds like there is too much water getting into the dishwasher. The water level should not come up to the bottom of the door. We would recommend checking the water inlet valve and the float switch. I hope this helps!

Replaced door gasket about 3 months ago.It quit leaking but it started again. What else can i do?
For model number DU93OPWSSO
Hi Richard,
Thank you for your inquiry. If the door is leaking again and the gasket fixed the issue previously, you will need to replace it. The gasket may be under warranty with the company you purchased it from and you will need to contact them to see if you can get a replacement. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
