Is it possible to get an actuator arm for this dishwasher? (the plastic lever that pushes on the float switch from the float.)

Where is the drain filter located. We see the float switch in the bottom of the tub but can’t find the filter to clean it. We have some leaking and plumber said to clean the drain filter but we can’t find it.

My dishwasher doesnt seem to fill with enough water. When i stop it mid cycle, and feel the water level, it is never up to the float valve.

Thank you for your question. If your dishwasher will not fill with water, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the water inlet valve, the float switch, the circulation pump and motor, the float assembly and the electronic control board. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!
Thanks for the answer on the lever part for the float assembly, but i had seen that part on the diagram. It doesn't match on my dishwasher. The float switch is along the top edge of the small switch box, rather than the bottom edge (the channels for the wires go down, rather than up) and there is no peg sticking out that the lever would set onto in its center. Is there any other type of float switch lever for this slightly different design? The dishwasher functions fine if i press on the switch by hand for filling the water.

Thank you for your follow up. The way that the parts are depicted in the diagram is supposed to be how your float switch assembly works. So the lever listed should be the correct lever. Though if you really do believe that it is not the right one you could always go for the assembly and that way you would have all the parts no matter what. Unfortunately we can only go by what your manufacturer tells us underneath model information, I do apologize about that. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Whirlpool dishwasher, water continues to slowly leak into the tub, filling it with Water after the washer completes its cycle

Hello Buel, Thank you for the question. This normally indicates the Water Inlet Valve PartSelect Number PS11749213 is defective and needs to be replaced. The port can become "stuck" open and allow water to leak back into the tub even when not in use. Hope this helps!
