You guys had a installation video which help greatly. I did run into a couple issues. Firstly, it didn't see a plug for the oven so I shut the power down from the panel. Lastly, disconnecting the old bake element from the electric insert at the ends was a bit challenging. The element and the inserts looks as if it was one piece but eventually it pulled apart. Installing the new piece was very easy. You want to consider adding additional legs under the bake element closet the area where the element connect to the oven inserts. When my old element broke and failed, the live piece can in contact with the floor of the oven causing a flash. It was a bit scary. Thank you very much for your expeditious shipment and your follow up. Great job!

unpluged unit took out bake element tested element with VOM,reading showed element to be ok. reinstalled element took back off the stove to expose the timer control for inspection and found the High voltage switch points on the bake control to be burnt off.ordered new timer control reversed the dismanteling process to install.my color code on the wiring was different, but I knew white is always nuetral, and black or red can be line,my yellow was bake which was the same in the diagram so my blue for broil had to be purple shown in the diagram.just a shame you can't buy the bake switch separate. Everything is working great !
I had viewed the video link on PartsSelect. I removed 2 screws and proceeded to pull element out to disconnect wire connectors. However one side the wire connected was melted on to the contact tab of the element and the wire was broken off. I proceeded to remove back panel from stove and located the exposed broken wire. I stripped back wire and installed a new wire connector that I had in my tool box. I fed wire through small hole. Then I re-installed back panel. I then connected wires to the new bake element and installed element mounting screws.
I watched the video on the web site and it worked like a dream. Two screws to take out - disconnect wires put back connecting wires and replace the screws again. Just like the video. Thanks
I got the run around about my HARWICK stove at several part stores. Like they all said the same thing (cant look it up just bring it down) So i did and then they would say, what's the model number. ERR! SO my wife found parts select on the web and they beat the three price quotes I got. First turn the power off to the stove!!! The repair was simple. Just remove the two screws on both side's and pull the element out but just enough for the wire's to show. Disconnect the two wire's and pull the element out. Reverse the processes but when wire's are reconnected squeeze terminals end gently to ensure a good connection. This is a great company to deal with, I will be using them again. Thanks and good luck!!!
First throw the breaker on the stove. Remove two screws in back of oven then slowly pull out loosen the wire attachements ......got new part in 2 days just as simple reverse the removal directions.,,,I am over 60 female and it was simple.

Ordered element and recieved in two days(yea). Removed back cover from unit. Removed two wire slide on wire clips. Then went inside oven cavity and removed two screws holding element intact. The element slid out. Installed element, re-installed two screws to hold element intact. Attached wire clips back on to element, re-attached back cover. Plugged unit back in and it worked perfectly. Removed 2 phillips screws, unplugged 2 wires, threw away old element. Installation of the new element was just as easy but in reverse order. Piece of cake!
Very simple fix--unpugged two fittings in the back of oven plugged in the new element and it was done. The Best part was that the element burned out on a Sunday and I ordered the part that day and it shipped on Monday and received part on Wed AM.This is the second time I've had to replace the element and by ordering through Part Select I saved $24.00 versus buying it from an appliance store.Don Samuelson
Took two screws out unplugged the element and plugged the new one in and replaced the screws and turned the breaker back on. Works great...Piece of cake..jk
First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires reverse the order to install the socet was easy but after i was done discovered that the base of the old bulb was stuck in the socet keeped it for future use
Removed the two screws that held the element in place and then pulled off the element from the connectors. Slipped the new connectors on. Tested the oven - Baked some blackberry cobbler!
Turned off power, removed 2 screws, un-hooked the connections, them put in the new element in reverse order.
POWER OFF! Unplugged oven from wall.(Note: I found it easier to disconnect the wires from the element by removing the rear cover. Fumbling around inside the oven was getting me nowhere.)Removed rear cover.Disconnected old element.Unscrewed the old element from inside the oven, removed, and installed the new element. Screwed the new element in place.Reconnected wires in back, installed the back cover.Connected power.Tested. Good as new.
