This filter is made of metal and is intended for use with ranges and cooktops. Grease filters are an important but often neglected part of ranges. If the filter is full, your extractor fan will become nosier, and cause a bad odor to come from your range. Neglecting the grease filter can also pose a fire hazard in your kitchen. Regular maintenance and cleaning of the grease filter is important and will make the part work more efficiently and last longer. It takes about 30 seconds to replace your grease filter. While replacing the filter, take a minute to check for a grease buildup underneath, and clean out any drip-through grease. As per the manufacturer, if this filter is 1/2" less wide than the original, it will still function the same.
This part works with the following brands: Whirlpool, Admiral, Estate, Inglis, Kenmore, KitchenAid, Roper, Maytag, Crosley, Jenn-Air, Hardwick, Magic Chef, Amana, Caloric & Glenwood.
This part fixes the following symptoms:
Just a couple of minutes to left off the cover grid, left out the old filter and drop in the new one.

Most of the repair was obvious as I took the blower apart before ordering the parts. Unfortunately the new motor was significantly larger than the original motor so I had to um. Adjust the position of some of the other parts to fit it in. There was a sheet metal flange that was installed on the other side of the blower from the motor which was designed to focus the air flow into the blower. I used a hammer to ajust the angle of flange so it no longer extended as far into the blower housing. It works just fine although its a bit louder than the old motor was.
pulled the washer out and replaces the top roller system on both sides and the replaced the weels and brackets on the bottom drwaer. however i had trouble putting the dish washer back correctly and had to call a repairman to adjust the dishwasher and alighn it to open and close properly. but i did do good inside. i feel it was easy and a success. thank you for having the supplies for us to attempt to repair it on our own.
We love our Jenn-Air electric range that we have owned since 1983 and couldn't get parts from where we bought it recently. We called around to Sears and other appliance dealers and they couldn't help us. We found your company searching on the internet and we are very much pleased with your parts listing and your great service. We will be back. Jody and Mike Hayden, Eden, Vt.
Just placed it at the filter location. Liked the ring feature on the filter for ease of removal for cleaning. My previous ones didn't have such feature. Thank you for filling my order. I bought an extra filter for the future. I'm a big user of my Jenn-Air range. I may soon be needing to replace my griddle. Will be contacting your company then.
Replacement parts were ordered - there was no 'repair work' involved. Parts were received within 5 business days.I had a problem finding the 'grill part' on the web site. I ended up calling the telephone number provided on the web site and the representative was very helpful.
I simply lifted off the grille in the center of the stove, pulled out the old filter and dropped the new one in. It sits at an angle (right side down, left side up) rather than slotting in to a particular spot.
I removed about 8 screws to disassemble the door to get the gasket in. This was an easy task. On the first use of the oven, it shattered one pane of the double glass door window. I think I installed it backwards since one pane is tempered glass, I believe. I installed the new window and am heating it up now - hope it doesn't break.
I removed teh pans and great filter.I removed the screws from the older Rear and front burner assembly and use them on the new parts. It just took about 20 mins to do all 4 burners.Checked that the gas worked for all 4 burnes once assembled. Then replaced the pans and the grease filler. Results have been great as the gas burners ignite faster and the stove top looks brand new :-)
