Easy repair here, the Refridge was purchased at a discount as a scratch and dent model. the damage was superfical and the parts orderd were simple remove and replace job did not take long at all to replace all parts.Divider pantry: no tools required, simply pull out tray and remove old broken dividers and snap new divider in place.Brace-Crisper: this takes a screw driver to remove. remove the crisper shelf and insert a screw driver to lift the plastic securing tab. slide out the frame brace and slide the new brace in place the plastic tabs will snap in to place and hold the metal frame in its position.Grille, Toe: this grill snaps into place no tools required.Bracket: this is the metal bracket for the front feet, there are 4 screws to remove and the bracket comes off the front of the refridge. unsrew the adjustable screw foot and screw the adjustable screw foot into the new bracket......install the 4 screws and you are done.Trim-Shelf: no tools required simply pry the trim piece of with your fingers.....some may use a flat screw driver but this riskes scratching the trim piece. the new trim piece snaps into place.
Wife learned you can overload the cheese and fresh veggie trays and the plastic rails broke. Repair required removing parts from the old crisper frame -- no experience and no instructions. Had to study broken part and figure out how to remove parts. Released catches with a knife and, by trial and error, figured out how to install rescued components on new crisper frame with minor damage and frustration.
It was a very simple operation to replace the parts and required essentially no tools, just a small screwdriver to pry up a tab for removal of the chanel on the front edge of the frame. This chanel had to be removed from the old crisper frame and installed in the new one. In addition the crisper control" had to be popped out of the old frame and into the new frame. Most of my time was spent cleaning.
These particular pieces just snap into position. Really could not have been any easier. Just glad I found PartSelect to get needed pieces.
We joined a CSA (community supported agriculture) and we put too much of the veggies in the crisper. It broke the crisper frame and bar. Replacing them took less than 15 minutes. No tools needed.
There were no instructions. I had to call maytag after calling you for information. The pieces I ordered from you after speaking with you was not exactly a perfect fit but I made it work. Can't believe my appliance is falling apart
Both of the pieces are removable with care and without tools. Installation of the new parts is also possible without any tools.
I removed the drawers, glass shelf and the old frame. I had to remove several parts from the old frame and reinstall on the new one. It took a couple of minutes to figure out how to remove one part by prying with a small screwdriver. Otherwise, everything was straightforward.
