Shut off power to the stove.I removed the screw that held the block in place. Then I lifted the top of the rage to get to the wires. I cut the wires from the old block and stripped back the insulation. Next I put the heat shrinking sleeve on. I attached the new block with the wire nuts, pulled the sleeve down and used a hair dryer to shrink them. Then you just hook it back on screw it in and your done.

The young lady on the phone was so helpful in getting exactly the right parts I needed. When they arrived, I just took out the old and put in the new.....easy as can be and it looks like a brand new stove. Can't beat the customer service and the prices. It was a pleasure doing business with you. mjm
plugged element into the plugin
Of course, power off first, then I removed the old one and inserted the new one, make sure everything in right place, then turn on power, simple as 1-2-3.
extremely easy to replace the burner. I just pulled out the old burner and replaced with new one. The whole process took less than ten minutes.
lifted up burner and pulled it free from its connection, then removed drip pan. used my cordless drill to drill out broken stabilizer clip. cleaned up chips from the drill process before installing new clip. installed clip with enclosed screw and nut. I then installed the new burner by lining it up with the connection under the cook top pushed it place and lowered it into the stabilizer clip. Then I turned the burner on to try it out, but I waited for about one hour before turning on the burner because it was cold from being outside.
After finding the correct Y-frame, inches and watts in a surface burner, it was easy to just slide in the slots. Tested, and it was perfect. Now it makes all of the other burners look bad. Thanks. Your site was the only one, that I was sure I had the correct part.
Simply removed new burner from box and plugged it in! Very pleased with 3 day speedy delivery. Confident my 32 year old cooktop will continue to give many more years of service with any parts needed from PartSelect.
Clipped and rewired plug in socket and put new burner in
pulled out old burner and pushed in new burner. No tools needed.
the part arrived in two days. Just had to remove the old one and pop in the new one and it was that easy. I was amazed at how soon the part was delivered and happy to have a working burner again.
Removed the old broken burner and slid the burner prongs into place. Very EASY to replace!
Since it was a plug-in burner, only needed to pull it out and put the other one in. Another thing I would like to say is that I was very well pleased with the service from partselect.com. I was unable to find the burners in my area. Was very helpful in selecting the part and was very efficient in sending it.
I ordered the 2 burners that were not working. When I got the burners, I discovered that one of the burners was still working and the wiring under that on had burned out. So I ordered the little box kit and repaired it. I only needed to strip wires and twist together and replace the small box. Now all are working and I am cooking with all four burners again. All for about $50.
Pulled the old one out and slid the new one in (and replaced the drip pans at the same time). Very easy.
