This single drum support roller is used for round ported model clothes dryers. It is three inches in diameter. The outer black ring of this support roller is made of rubber. While the middle white part is made of plastic. The innermost ring, which is the bearing, is made of metal. Though we picture a roller with a white middle, note that this wheel is also available with a black plastic center.

First unplug anf turn off the gas to the dryer.1. Remove the 2 screws located at the bottom of the front panel. 2. Use a flat head screw driver to pry the top of the dryer lid. The clips are pretty strong. This allows the front dryer panel to be removed.3. Remove the 4 screws that hold the front of the drum ring in place.4. Slide drum belt off of motor. Not the belt path before removing it.5. Remove drum. This will give you complete access to the dum support roller.6. This is a good time to vaccum the inside of the dryer.7. You will need a pair of snap ring plyers to remove the snap ring that holds the roller in place.8. Replace roller.9. Reverse installation.10. It runs great and has not been the quite in 10 years.I would definitely use Parts Select again. The parts shipped quickly and correctly.
The biggest problem for me was figuring out how to remove the front cover to gain access to the internal parts. Once I got online with the make and model numbers, I was able to acquire this information. The rest of the install was very easy: marking and disconnecting the three wires on the backside of the front cover, removing the 4 screws holding the front of the drum, and sliding the drum out far enough to gain access to the roller wheels. I then removed the snap ring on both rollers, removed both wheels, replaced the damaged one, greased both of them and re installed them. Reassembly was the exact opposite of the removal. The dryer is now much more quiet and is running fine. Thanks for your prompt service in sending us the part!
Unplugged dryer removed the front, removed & marked the wires. Removed the drum & drive belt. Removed the snap ring on front of roller with a pgtai awl.Removed the wheel & worn washers, removed the nut on the back of the roller shaft. reppaced it all in reversed proceedure. Other than a few little scrapes on the knuckles it was Quite easy.
Removed the 2 screws from the bottom of the front panel and pulled the cover up and out. Labeled the wires to the light and door switch and disconnected. Lifted the belt tensioner arm and unlooped the belt from it and the motor. Removed the 4 bolts that hold the front drum support on then held the drum up and removed the support. Pulled the drum out slightly and allowed the rear to drop, at this point you can get to the rear rollers without pulling the drum out of the machine. The roller shaft was so tight I had to put a straight-blade bit in a 1/4" socket to get enough torque to break it loose. Make sure to use a large enough driver or you will strip the slot out of the screw. This model had a nut on the back but I was able to just drag my finger against it to get it apart. Removed the washer and roller from the shaft and cleaned the shaft and washer with WD40 before reinstalling with the new roller. Vacuumed all the lint I could get to and reassembled, lift drum, push back, front support, 4 bolts, belt, wires, front panel, 2 screws.
Initially viewed on line how to videos prior to purchasing parts. During the reinstallation, dropped a bolt and had to tear dryer apart again. As a first time initiate, lost bolt, and cleaning (lots of lint), I know now that I'd be able to replace the drum support rollers within 30 minutes as the video(s) suggested and not the three plus hours that it took me.
