This silverware basket is gray in color and measures 8 inches wide by 11-1/2 inches high by 12 inches deep. The silverware basket is used to hold small utensils such as forks, spoons, and knives during dishwashing. The manufacturer has redesigned this part to be a complete, full basket with a handle and covers. The basket comes apart into two pieces if you prefer to place them along the sides of your dishwasher instead of the front section of your bottom dish rack. To prolong the life, try not to jam your utensils into place, also try to place them into the holders carefully instead of dropping them in.
This part works with the following brands: Whirlpool, Admiral, Estate, Inglis, Kenmore, KitchenAid, Roper, Maytag, Crosley, Jenn-Air, Hardwick, Magic Chef, Amana, Caloric & Glenwood.
This part fixes the following symptoms:

Just took the basket out of the box and put it in the disjwasher.
Took out the old, put in the new. Thank you.
Snapped new basket together and put it in dishwasher.
Replaced silverware basket and removed broken clips and replaced with new clips. I am very satisfied with the parts and service.
I replaced the old one with a new one I bought. Not exactly the same but it fit in the footprint of the old one.
The one I got wasn't exactly the same but it fit and does the job just like the one that broke.
I like the new rack has a nice handle and seems sturdier, I put up with old one too long I got the new part in a few days thanks
I took out the old basket and dropped in the new! Easiest repair of my lifetime. Thanks. :)
Got on the web site and ordered the basket for my model. was a good self-help web-site.
II took the handle off the old basket and attached it to the new basket. I replaced the old basket with the new one in the dishwasher.
The only tricky part was taking the carrying handle off the broken basket and installing it on the new basket. The handle has three alternating hooks (two on one side and one on the other) that snap into slots in the center partition of the basket. I used three butter knives to push out the hooks from the slots so that I could remove the carrying handle. Once removed, the carrying handle snapped into place on the new basket fairly easily.
I removed the handle from the old silverware basket and put it on the new one. As easy as that!
Replaced the basket which was difficult to find
just took out the old one and put in the new one
