Orifice and Tube Assembly - Left Side Specifications

This orifice tube assembly is a genuine OEM replacement part for your gas range. This is a very easy repair. Start by removing the grates and use a strap wrench to loosen the burner heads. Disconnect the wires to the burner heads and unscrew the four screws to gain access under the main stovetop. Use a wrench to unscrew the gas lines to the orifice tube assembly. Install the new tube assembly and reassembly the remaining parts in reverse order.

What I broke while cleaning
Correct part other then the orifices holes too big, when lit major flames. We just exchanged with the ones we took out as they were fine, I had broke the aluminum tubing by pulling up range top without unscrewing the screws at burners.....next time I'll know better, good excuse not to clean it lol.

It had broken gas lines
All I used was a Phillips screw driver and a small adjustable wrench. I removed top burners and wires i then removed small screws holding the top cover to the assembly. Then removed top cover, in the front I removed the four nuts holding the assembly. I removed assembly and installed new ones. Assembled back the same way.

Broke both the left & the right side orfice tubes
This repair is very easy. If you ever have to remove the range for any reason, for deep cleaning or otherwise, "PLEASE REMEMBER TO REMOVE THE 4 SCREWS located on the bottom of each burner! Don't do what I did! I tried to pop the range without removing the screws, & broke ALL ORIFICE TUBES! When doing this repair, shut the main gas off in the back of the oven. All you need to do is remove the 4 screws as I indicated earlier, using a Phillips screw driver, once this is done, twist off all 4 burners ("YES THEY TWIST OFF!")These twist off about 1/2 turn counter-clockwise, this will expose the electronic ignition wires connected to the ignitor electrodes, these wires are color coordinated, so remember to either write down how these wires came off, or if you are like me, just remember where they came off from, remove these "VERY CAREFULLY" as these are very delicate to remove, especially, if the ignitor electrodes are brittle or old, if they are in too bad a shape, REPLACE THEM! Once you have removed all wires connecting to the ignitor electrodes, set down the 4 burners, & the range is ready to be removed, using a flat, regular, screw driver or a small tire iron, insert the flat end into the bottom of the range, just above, where the top of the oven door is & the bottom of the range meets, the top of the oven door, the gap in-between is the spot, you want to pry, The range is held down with retainer clips, then, lift the range about half way up & remove the range. Taking a look inside, you will see the Orifice tubes & how they connect to the burner valves. Remove the two lines going to the burner valves with the use of a 1/2 wrench, or if you don't have one, a crescent wrench will do, once this is done, there is a wire restraint @ the top of the orifice assembly, please do not cut it, but turn the assembly upside down, & with your index finger & thumb, squeeze the restraint & it should pop off, then remove & replace the orifice tubes, when you are tightening the lines, only use hand-tight torque, do not over-tighten, as this will break the orifice tubes! The rest is putting the range on the oven, put the range back on the oven, reversing the procedure on taking it apart. When you put the range back on the retainer clips, you need to push down on the edge of where the clips latch in. This took me about 10-15 minutes to do. Good Luck!

Lifted stove top broke gas lines
Replaced gas line and orifice assembly. Had to swap orifice for the LP Gas orifice I purchased with the stove. Install and adjust took about 45 minutes to complete including clean up and test.

2 front burner (RIGHT AND LEFT) doesn't work
That's easy...unscrew the 4 top burner and open it slowly.
Open the tube's nut...i used the wrench.
Then install the new one.
And put it back together like before the first thing, and we got 2 burner worked.
It takes about 20-30 minutes.

Broken front burner gas lines
The biggest challenge with the repair was propping up stove top. This range doesn't have a prop arm, and the burner assemblies are attached by screws to stovetop. DIY'ers take note: take a minute to learn how your stove is designed before attempting to clean it by lifting the stovetop too high and breaking the front burner gas lines like I did on mine. Fortunately the new burner assemblies fit perfectly with no gas leaks, and the stove is working good as new. Thanks PartSelect!

broke gas supply lines to burners atpoint closes to controll knob. I did not remove 2 screws holding lines to stove top and when I lifted top they shear off. Rick Alice's husban thank you

Does the tips work on propane or are they just for natural gas? If it doesn't work for propane how can i get the tips for propane?
