Just what we needed
We did have to buy another part to completely fix it, but this one did what it was supposed to. It also arrived in a timely manor. I ordered from other places and got a 6 month window. Here I got the part in a week.

I'm looking at timer part #ps11741998 to repair washer that won't advance through cycle. Stays put on whatever cycle stage i manually move it to. E.G. Stays at 12 min wash...or stays on spin...etc. do you think timer is the right part to replace? thanks!!!

Hello Georgia, thank you for your question. Yes, this timer part number WP3946475 is the correct replacement for your appliance. Replacing this part should fix the issue of the cycles not advancing on their own. Good luck with your repair!

We have a problem with this washing machine where it does not want to start sometimes. This is your started recently. No matter where we turn the dial to nothing happens. If we change the water level it fills so there is power going in to the machine. Just now it wouldn’t start and we left it and then it started by itself several minutes later and run through the cycle but there’s no guarantee that if we try another wash it will start. This is an intermittent issue that has started in the last couple of weeks. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello Brian, Thank you for the question. With the information provided, this sounds like a defective Timer Switch. The timer controls the cycles and lengths of time to each cycle. We hope this helps!
