Electrode broken on end and would not ignite the burner
It was a very easy repair. I just connected the two wires to the bottom of the electrode and set the burner on stove top and turned it to the right to lock in place. Turned burner knob on and burner worked great.

The burner failed to light when the knob was placed on pilot.
I simply twisted the defective burner off by hand in a counter clockwise direction. Then I removed the two electrical wires attached to the burner and simply connected the new one. Presto, like magic, the burner problem was fixed in approximately 3 minutes.

How do I replace sealed burner unit?
For model number CG34800ADQ

Hello Joe, thank you for your question. First unplug your stove and remove the grate. Clean all around the sealed burner. You only need to turn them a little bit but they can be stuck on there so you might need a strap wrench to loosen the burner. Once its loose just lift it up. Remove the wires with a small flathead screwdriver and transfer them to the new burner. Put the burner back in place and turn until locked. We hope this helps.
