Watchhed the video offered and followed those instructions. Super easy,
Finding the obvious was the tough part. Nothing worked, so blamed the power source. Traced the electricity through to the door switch with some help. That took the longest part. Ordered the part on line with ground delivery. It came in less than 24 hrs. Put it in and we were back in business.
took a screwdriver and pryed the front of the top loose, lifted the top and supported it with a peice of wire, unscrewed two screws that held the old switch on, disconnected old switch then plugged the new one in,screwed that one back on closed the top.
Followed video instructions. Hardest part was separating electrical connectors.
watch the video it's all you need. used screwdriver to take out 4 screws. putty knife to unlock connection locks. put in new part close dryer and tighter screws. 13 mins tops with a glass of wine. love it dusty
Hardest part of the job was figuring out how to get access to the broken part for remove and replace. Popped the top up and wa-la, I pounced upon my prey. The knife helped with parting the wire harness connector. Removed two screws, connected the new switch and replaced the two screws. Replaced the top, and done.
plastic broke on door latch so replaced part & dryer works fine...also part came very quickly
Removed lint trap, and unscrewed two phillips screws, the use a flathead screwdriver and separate the top portion of the dryer. . . There are two clips that hold it down, located on both front edges of the dryer. Just pry open and it lifts easily. Prop up the top of the dryer. Unplug the door switch, then open the dryer door remove the two screws holding the switch and replace. Very easy. . . Good luck!
was easy as could be. raise lid un did connection install switch, lower lid and was done.
Very easy repair, the parts diagram made the repair very easy. Saved me allot of money!
I viewed the online repair video and repaired the dryer It was easy
The dryer switch was broken at our cabin and the phillips head screws holing the switch in would not budge! Just then a small gold UFO disc about 30 ft. in diameter landed in the yard and two little green men about 3 feet tall got out and came into the cabin!! Wow! "What is the problem, earthling?" one of the asked. "It's these damn tiny phillips head screws" I replied. "Can't get them loose." One of the aliens pulled a ray gun and blasted the screws and they fell off. I quickly finished the repair as they flew away in their ship!
I watched the YouTube instructions and did the repair in that order. The repair took a little longer because I dropped one of the screws from the door area. But it didn't take long to get it out and I was successful. Yippee.
Dryer at out Bahama home quit working and with no repair men or service centers on island it had to be a do-it-yourself job. I watched the repair video, which was exptremely helpful. Unscrewed the two lint trap door philips screws, popped open the top of dryer with putty knife blade gently prying at two corners, unscrewed two little screws holding the door switch, unplugged switch carefully, plugged in new switch, put all back together, plugged dryer back in, crossed our fingers and perfect!!Dryer works great.
