removed frt & rear panels & drum and lint chute for seal replacement replaced these components, problem didn't go away, ordered & replaced both gas valve coils (m series coil kit) problem solved
Removed and replaced both the thermostat sensor and the ignitor. Tested thej dryer and it worked. Replaced the front panel and it was good to go.
I watched your YouTube video. Access to the interior of the dryer and replacing parts was EASY. Unlike the machines in the videos ACCESS is VERY EASY as only one panel needs to be removed. Access is from the FRONT PANEL and secured by two top clips and two front bottom screws. Just unscrew and swing the bottom up at about a 45 degree angle; the panel comes off and can be placed to the side. I first replaced a thermostat and a coil kit but still no heat. I then ordered a new FLAT STYLE IGNITER ( which I discovered was broken off ) and a RADIANT FLAME SENSOR and these parts FIXED THE PROBLEM. Parts cost about $90 (Dec. 2016) including shipping.
as i took a part out I put back wire for wire part for part took my time no distractions great to have this service would use again and tell a friend or friends great stuff saved $$$$$$$ thank you for being their love this internet
Found on your site the top two causes of a Dryer not getting hot enough and ordered those parts ( which were delivered quickly).Removed the top two screws that hold the front of the dryer that gives access to the coils and flame sensor assembly after lifting up the top.It took more time to clean up all the lint than to replace the parts.Dryer works great!
Prelude to this was 2 years ago we had the same problem, called Sears and $200 later we had a new $16 dollar part, the repair guy was kind enough to tell me what he did, and I saved the fuse he replaced. So when it happened again this summer, I went through a couple of sites (obviously including this one) to find parts, started with the fuse he had replaced, which was not the problem this time, went on to the next likely, and on through about 5 key elements (all under $20) until I found the coils on the burner assembly were the problem. All in all the repairs were pretty simple, and once I figured out how to dismantle the cabinet safely. I am VERY happy with the timely replacement parts (shipped very quickly) and when your dryer isn't working-things pile up pretty quickly. The dryer is working like a charm again. Thanks! -Mike
Unplug unit turn off gas, remove only bottom front panel first tried radient flame sensor was not the problem it was the coils which were infront easy to acess with small screw driver remove two prong coil and replaced then the three pronged coil being sure to line them back before tigtening left off cover and watched for ignition once it turned on and ran replaced cover and done.
After the Radiant Flame Sensor was installed, the problem remained. An appliance repair person then replaced both coils, and that fixed the problem.
First tried to clean the ignitor, broke it and replaced with new. Problem not yet solved. I read a review where one guy replaced all components as they were reasonably priced so I did the same. Replaced coils and flame sensor (which I was going after next anyway). Dryer is now back in service and the house is back to normal.
