I unscrewed the remaining part of the retainer nut with my finger and then I removed the old sprayarm seal and replaced it with a new one. Next I removed the wash arm bearing ring and replaced it with a new one. Then finally I screwed in the wash arm retained nut with my fingers. I did all this within 5 mins. I saved alot of money doing it myself. My dishwasher is working great. I love kitched aid dishwashers. I have another one in my 2nd home.

most everything snapped easly into place only one screw to deal with. very easy repair.
Unscrewed wing nut by hand and remover wash arm. Seals slipped in with out force.
I removed the end clips so I could slide out the upper rack........I recommend doing this carefully inorder to reuse the clips. All the repairs were easy..........at first I thought the lower arm was not tightened enough, but a simple search told me that it is supposed to "wobble".Thank you for making it so easy to find the right parts. You do an excellent job of organizing parts by model #.
unscrewed upper wing nut with fingers replaced the washer arm bearing ring and lower spray arm seal- (a little confused where to place the washer bearing ring since old ring was broken and had slipped down into washer arm.Your schematic showed clearly how to do it. Cost of repair was about $30. I think my local repair shop ( a reputable company ) would have been in the $200 or more range.. Thanks. The letters from other customers were a big help.
At first, I suspected the door seal was at fault. However, after reading others' repair experiences, I found the dishwasher may leak if the wash arm bearings are worn. So, I took a look at those, and indeed they were quite worn. After receiving the parts in the mail, I called my 7 and 9 year old kids over. They were excited to open the package, and weren't too disappointed when they found it was dishwasher parts. I told them it was up to them to fix the dishwasher. As I sat on a stool, I instructed them what to do. They did a great job and now it doesn't leak any more.
The wash arm parts were the most functionally important. These just snap into place. I was amused to see that the lower spray arm seal no longer even resembled the shape of the original part. My seal had worn to the shape of a thin fingering. The dish rack clips were a little more challenging. Snapping off the old ones was straightforward but figuring out the proper orientation of the new clips required a little thought. However, I like puzzles.
Simply looked at the exploded parts diagram and put it back together 1-2-3. No problem!
Removed plastic wing-nut. install new bushing.
These parts were VERY easy to install. The dishwasher works perfectly now.
