Simple...put knob together and put in place. Lint filter...put in place!
Removed entire timer dial from dryer, compared and checked diagram on this website. it was simply layed out piece by piece. It was that easy. The longest process was waiting for the part to come in. Putting it back together was a snap literally. I found it was easier to put the skirt on the metal piece first then snap on the other 2 pieces.
Removed the complete dial from the dryer. Removed the top of the knob from the old skirt and put it onto to the new skirt. Put the complete dial back on to the dryer
just bought a new timer dial skirt, this is 1 of 3 parts of the knob. just disassembled the knob using bare hands, replaced the broken skirt with new one and eureka, the dial/knob now works and I can use my drier again!
I took apart the timer dial with a screwdriver, which separated into 3 separate pieces. I then re-assembled the 3 pieces with the new timer dial skirt and put it back on the dryer.
I simply popped on the old knob cap to your new part and snapped it onto the timer stem. Couldn't have been easier to find on your site.
removed the dial skirt, the little round plastic piece cracked. Popped the top knob off with pliers and popped in the new timer dial skirt.
All I had to do was open the package and install the control knob skirt. Finding the correct part might have been a problem with another company, but the customer service people directed me quickly and easily to the correct skirt so that the repair was simple.
I only needed to remove the old knob and replace with the parts purchased. The hardest part was finding the part and once I found PartSelect that was easy. My wife figured we would never find the parts for this old driver. Thanks for the help.
I pulled the broken one off and put the new one on!super easy!!
We took the timer skirt from Partselect and put it with some of the old parts of the knob and it was fixed just that fast. Works as good as new. The part arrived in 2 business days from order. Thanks Partselect
I took the cover off the old dial. Then I used a screwdriver to help push the tabs together to release the grip ring from the old dial skirt. I put the cover and the grip ring on the new dial. Then I pushed the new dial onto the shaft on the control panel. TA-DA! It worked! What helped the most was the expanded diagram of the control panel on the website. It really made it easy to identify the peices I needed. I did this all by myself since my husband was out of town! No service call! Woo-hoo!
Pulled the old knob off of the control panel. The knob consisted of three elements so I diassembled it. I then reassembled with new skirt and replaced the knob on the control panel.
Took cover off of old knob, attached it to new knob and timer dial. Put back on. Took out old, torn lint filter and replaced with new one! Simple!!!
