I watched a quick video on how to repair my dyer from Parts select. After watching the video I decided to do the repair myself it was so easy and I would use parts select in the future. Thank You, Bruce From New Jersey.

Online video was great! I may not have realized that the cover cap was to be removed with out the helpful video. With little effort, the cap came off and the inner part had to be popped out and placed into the new knob. Then I placed the new knob onto the control panel. Very easy. Thank you for saving me the cost of a repairman and service call.
A 30 second repair; I simply slid the new part over the D-shaped metal bar that projects from the dryer, then snapped on the old dial knob onto the new dial skirt. Initially, I bought the part from a national realtor's internet part replacement site. I carefully described the part as having a "central cylinder about 1 1/8 inches in diameter extending out about 3/4 inch from the flange." received the correct part from Part Select.
Watched the video, made the repair and can not believe how simple it was and the money I saved!!!!!!!!Part was delivered in record time....Super Site & Seller
I'm so happy I saved so much money. For the repair man just to show up would have cost $80. He gave me an estimate over the phone of $214.20 to fix the problem. At first I noticed my dryer arrow wasn't on the length or heat/air it was pointing to, and it seemed to slip, then it stopped working altogether. I found this site, trouble-shooted the problem, ordered the part for $4.29 (the shipping was more than the part). And the video showed me what to do. I normally don't fix anything, so I amazed myself! Completely fixed the problem and I couldn't be happier!!!
My wife and I bickered for years, until warranty ran out.I tried household repairs, even substituted a vintsge radio dial. Finally, my wife said, "Why don't you search the Internet?I Googled "Whirlpool Dryer Parts" and selected PartSelect.Enterimng the part number, I reached a schematic. Clicking on the timer dial skirt, I was treated to a sound video of a repairman replacing the dial skirt. I fired off payement of about $11 for the part with UPS postage, and in about 3-4 days received it. After snapping the dial skirt onto its two companion parts, I pushed it onto the timer shaft, and the job was done.
Took the part out of the bag and put it together with the other pieces that werent broken. Very fast delivery. The part came the day after I ordered it. I was surprised and very happy it came so fast! Hate to have laundry pile up! Will recommend to every one. Thank you!
I simply replaced the existing timer dial skirt to correct the problem. I couldn't believe I ordered the part one morning and received it the next day. Good work guys
watched video on line and did same
I just had to push down on the .new knob over the shaft and Bingo.Bill
Pulled grip and cap off old skirt, pressed on the new and put on machine.
Simple...put knob together and put in place. Lint filter...put in place!
The piece inside the part was cracked so I could not turn the knob and engage the dryer. I took the dial off and found the parts on PartSelect.com Their diagrams were incredibly helpful. I pulled the old knob off, snapped these two new parts together and put the knob back on....problem solved. I confess, as a woman whose husband does all the repairs in the house, I was very proud of the fact that I solved this one on my own. For $20. I saved mega $$ on a house repair call and parts replacement charge. Thank YOU!
Removed entire timer dial from dryer, compared and checked diagram on this website. it was simply layed out piece by piece. It was that easy. The longest process was waiting for the part to come in. Putting it back together was a snap literally. I found it was easier to put the skirt on the metal piece first then snap on the other 2 pieces.
