This timer dial skirt is just over three inches in diameter. It is white in color and is made entirely of plastic. This skirt has a gray indicator triangle.
This part works with the following brands: Whirlpool, Admiral, Estate, Inglis, Kenmore, KitchenAid, Roper, Maytag, Crosley, Jenn-Air, Hardwick, Magic Chef, Amana, Caloric & Glenwood.
This part fixes the following symptoms:
Removed the Timer Skirt by pulling it, by hand force, from the "D" shaft on the dryer control panel. Using a flat blade screw driver the Skirt was separated from 2 Timer Knob tangs that holds the subassembly together. Installation with the replacement part is the opposite steps.

Popped the timer off the machine. Broke it down to its three basic parts with a screw driver. Replaced the timer dial skirt (the broken part). Put the timer together again. Popped it back on the machine. All per your excellent investigative guide and detail assembly instructions. Thank you very much.
After the timer broke, I glued it together and it lasted a bit longer. It broke again after about one year. I got online to find the part which took me about 5 minutes. The part was here in 2 days and it took me about two minutes to fix. Great video instructions. Thanks for making it so easy.
It was so easy, even a caveman can do it
Ordered the part on Saturday and it was delivered on Tuesday. Watched the PartSelect video and had the dial skirt replaced and the dryer running in less than two minutes. Super easy repair at a bargain price.
First I watched a short film from the partselect website on how to dismantle the item and put it together. It took me one minute to put the parts together. Wonderful. The delivery was scheduled for 3 to 5 days and I received it on the third day. I could not have asked for better service. Thank you partselect
replaced timer, no problem
I watched the video instructions and followed the steps.
After browsing the internet for a replacement part, came upon your website with the super friendly repair man - making it look very easy to replace this part. The video answered all of my questions, and I was able to take apart the old dial - (although it helped to have an extra set of hands to lift off the gray rubber portion - while the other person was wrangling the white tabs inward with the screw driver) Once the new part came in (very quickly I might add) it took about 30 seconds to put everything back together. Thank you for the video, and the prompt service.
took off the old knob and replaced it with the new part, returned to the setting dial.
I was so excited that it was so easy. I watched the short video that the website had. This helped me make sure to order the correct part. It was so easy to understand. My part arrived in a couple of days. I removed the old dial, snapped the pieces together and was done in about 5 minutes. It was so easy because this website makes it that way. No guessing. Saved a bundle by not having to call a repairman. Thanks so much. I have already told others about your site.
I knew if I called a repair place it would cost close to $90. To have the visit and then also at least another $20. 00 For a part when it was just a dryer knob! We tried diy stores and none of them will touch a brand. I was not sure if they came in one piece or more and other sites really didn't have diagrams that enlightened me. I got to this site and not only did they show me a better diagram, but also the specific part I needed. Then I watched the video which gave me more visual confirmation that it was the right part. So, instead of a maytag repair costing over $100. 00, It cost me $11. 00 (Including shipping)and the part came in two days!! I will definitely let this site help me with all my future repairs!!!

Piece of cake. I pulled the dial apart into several pieces. Snapped the old pieces into the new replacement piece. Stuck it on the dryer. All worked fine. Took just 5 minutes start-to-finish. Thanks so much. I will remember you next time I need a part. Also it was delivered as quickly as could be hoped for.Thanks.
I watched a quick video on how to repair my dyer from Parts select. After watching the video I decided to do the repair myself it was so easy and I would use parts select in the future. Thank You, Bruce From New Jersey.
