Bake element not heating

The hardest part was figuring which breaker controlled the oven because it wasn't marked in my breaker box (it IS now!). So, first I killed all power to the stove, then unscrewed the 2 screws in the back of the oven holding the element. Pulled the element forward, then dissconnected the 2 clampy connector wires (yes, I'm a girl, no correct electrical jargon here). These were a little difficult because my oven is 21 years old & this is the first replacement I've had to do. I reconnected the new element clamps(which was easier), pushed the wires back through the opening & reinserted the screws. Threw the breaker back on, turned on oven to 200 degrees & let heat until the set temperature light turned off as a test. Voila - oven fixed!

Oven element quit heating up

It was easier than I thought. Unscrewed the unit from the back of the oven. I released the unit from the back and removed the wires, pulled out the element. Connected the wires to the new element. Put the two [2] screws back in place and closed the door and turned on the oven and "poof" my oven was back in operation. Cheaper than purchasing a new stove.

Bake element burned out

This was the easiest thing we've ever repaired. I read the online comments from
others who had replaced the bake element and decided to give it a try. Ordered the part from PartSelect and received it within 24 hours. Flipped the circuit breaker to the oven and tested to see if the power was indeed off.
Used a phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws holding the element to the back wall of the oven; pulled the element out about three inches and disconnected the blade
connectors. Thought it would be difficult since the oven is 23 years old--not a problem,
they came right off. Connected the new element to the wires, pushed the wires back into
to oven wall and put the two screws back into place. Finished in less than ten minutes.
I had called our local appliance store where I bought the oven and asked what the repair
costs would be. We saved $178 by doing it ourselves.

Bake element had burned out

I shut off the power to the stove, removed the 2 screws holding the bake element, detached the 2 wires, reconnected the wires to the new bake element, pushed it back in and replaced the screws. It works perfectly. In addition, I ordered this on Wed., and it arrived on Thur.

Oven wouldn't heat, sparks coming out of door. I nearly went out and bought a new stove.

First I removed the two screws holding old element in place. I pulled out old element, pulled the wire connectors from old element and reconnected to new element. I pushed the element back into place and redid the two screws. Simple!
